Many of the features of Splash! Primary are designed to support pupils who might struggle to set out answers using pen and paper or use mathematical tools such as rulers or compasses.
Splash has several different "activities" or strands - number/shape/graphs/equations/drawing. There are around 60 different tools in Splash in total, with just the ones relevant to the current type of work being displayed - although you can also easily add or remove tools and other features for individual students.
Each user has a menu page where they can select the activity, or any prepared worksheets set up for them.
Splash can import PDF files so that the student work on the same exercises as rest of the class - and Splash now supports some modification and interaction with the PDF to make it more accessible.
